A bit muggy at the
Hallie Open on Sunday but we had 60 golfers get
after it and shoot for the 2012 Hallie Open
Championship. Once again we had a tie at the top
and had another playoff to decide the winner.

their scorecard
It was really great to see some new and
ledgendary faces and golfers at the Hallie
Open and we all hope that you continue to support
this awesome tournamnet schedule and the CVGA in
the future. Remember....only the top 72 players in
points will be invited to the tournament of
champions so I encourage all of you to get
and play inas many CVGA events as you can. Theres
only 4 left before the T of C.  and it took 2
playoff holes for Mark Sperling to claim the
tournament victory (This was Mark's 40th career
golf tournament victory). Third place went to
Chris Manor with 69 and last weeks winner Paul
Meyer tied with John Rawdon for 4th place with
70's.The CVGA Open is off next weekend and will resume on Saturday, July 28 at Whispering Pines in Cadott. Thanks to Fred Hancock and his crew at Hallie for hosting another great CVGA event. See you on the 28th at Whispering Pines. Craig Walter |
