Joe Stansberry of Minnetonka, Minn. fired a five-under par round of 67 to win the
Chippewa Valley Golf Association's Clifton Hollow Open in River Falls Sunday.
 
 
 Mike Peterson of New Richmond and Tim Lambrecht of Minneapolis both shot
three-under par totals of 69 to tie for second place. Paul Meyer of Somerset, Chris
Borsen of Eagan, Minn. and Eric Hutchinson of Eden Prairie, Minn. both carded
two-under 70 to tie for fourth place. And Tony Rohlik of Queen Creek, Az., Sean
Conway of Hastings, Minn. and Eric Rolland of Rogers, Minn. all shot one-under 71
to tie for seventh place.
 
 
 Also, defending champion Brian Seiwert of St. Louis Park, Minn. shot even-par 72 to
finish in a five-way tie for 10th place with Chad Fortney of West Salem, Matt
Garber of Hudson, Brent Heit of River Falls and Joel Johnson of Hugo, Minn.
 
 
 The CVGA comes home to Eau Claire this Sunday for the Princeton Valley Open. The
CVGA then rounds out its 15-event regular schedule with the River Falls Open the
following Sunday. And the CVGA Tournament of Champions will be played Saturday and
Sunday, Sept. 8-9 at Hillcrest Country Club in Altoona.
