A player’s age bracket will be determined by his age as of May 1st or when he turns 50 during the season.
The following rules will apply for the new net handicap division:
1. You must have a handicap of 7 or over to enter.
2. CVGA handicaps will be used. If you haven't established one as yet, a current USGA handicap card will be allowed until your CVGA handicap is determined.
All flight tournaments will be played winter rules. (Tournament directors will determine the playing conditions of the course and allow preferred lies or lift clean and place as conditions dictate.) Winter rules will be from tee through greens in your own fairway only.
All tournament divisions will be played from either the white tees (Mid-Range) for Men and Red (Forward) Tees for Women. Handicaps will be based on the tees rating for these teeing selections.
All scores will be recorded into the CVGA handicap system, combined with flite scores and/or scores from the age groups, as people may want to go from one group to the other. Net division will be determined by: the CVGA tournament history of 4 or more scores OR if less than four scores in CVGA, the lower handicap between USGA/club attested handicap or those CVGA scores will be used.
Points will be awarded as 6-4-3-2-1. Points cannot be moved from one division to another.
The entry fee will be $44.00 (with the exception of Wild Ridge, $60.00) for each 18-hole tournament with the following breakdown:
Green Fees - $20.00
Prize Money - $17.00
CVGA - $7.00
